FREE Movie in the Park - How To Train Your Dragon

 Join the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce for a FREE Outdoor Movie in the Park on Saturday,  July 11th, 2026, featuring How to Train Your Dragon (2025).  

Schedule: 

• 8:30-9:45pm: Find your spot, bring a picnic dinner, and bring a yard game!
• Movie Start Time: Movie will start at dusk. Hopefully between 10:00-10:15pm, OR as soon as we can see it on the screen. (Note: This may mean we start earlier or later based on lighting!)

Details:

• Free to attend
• Movie night concessions available for purchase, including fresh popcorn, candy and soft drinks
• Movie will be on the screen by the bandshell in Marantette Park
• Bring a lawn chair and/or blanket to sit on.  Lawn chairs will be seated farther back to allow all to see
• Be sure to dress warm and bring extra blankets, as it cools off quick once the sun goes down

Movie Information:  On the rugged isle of Berk, where Vikings and dragons have been bitter enemies for generations, Hiccup stands apart. The inventive yet overlooked son of Chief Stoick the Vast Hiccup defies centuries of tradition when he befriends Toothless, a feared Night Fury dragon. Their unlikely bond reveals the true nature of dragons, challenging the very foundations of Viking society.
