2nd Annual Harvestfest in Hungry Horse

Join the Columbia Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Saturday, October 19th, 2024 for our 2nd Annual Harvestfest in Hungry Horse, Montana at Canyon Elementary School.  Events include a children's costume fun run and costume parade, dessert auction,  pie eating contest, kid's crafts, games and activities, chili cook-off, cornbread competition, FREE chili lunch, and many more fall activities! 

Date of Event: Saturday, October 19th, 2024.  11:00 am-3:00 pm (Specific event times and details below.) 

Location: Canyon Elementary School, 200 North Street, Hungry Horse, Montana 59919

Entry  Fee: Entry to the overall event is FREE (Food bank donation is recommended but not required.)                     

Free Events:

• Kid's Corner: Fall themed activities put on by the Imagine If Library
• Kids crafts and games
• Tour of large equipment!
  
• 50/50 Split the Pot
• Spooky Substances
  
• Yard Games (weather dependent)
• 12:00pm: Children's Fun Run and Costume Parade (Wear your costume, join in on the fun run, and then showcase your costume after!)
• 12:00-3:00pm: FREE chili and cornbread lunch (until we run out) 
• & plenty more fall themed activities! 

Additional Paid Events (but free to watch!): 

• • Dessert Auction: (11:00-2:30pm) Bring a pie, and/or bid on a pie! 
  • Pie Eating Contest (Starts at 1:00pm): $5.00/entry
  • Chili Cook Off - $25/Chili: Enter your chili into the contest! Chili will be judged between 11:00-12:30pm.  1st place wins $75, 2nd place $50, and third place $25. After the contest, all chill  is served for free to overall event attendees.
  • Corn Bread Competition - $10/Cornbread: Have the best cornbread recipe? Enter the cornbread competition at Harvestfest.  Cornbread will be judged from 11:00-12:30pm. 1st place wins $30, 2nd place wins $20, and 3rd place wins $10. 
  • • Enter both the chili and cornbread competition for only $30!
