Who are the Range Riders?
Inspired by early 20th-century outdoorsmen patrolling the 1.3 million acres that is now Glacier National Park, the name “Range Rider” has deep regional roots. These defenders of the wilderness protected and preserved the area from poachers, wildfires, and timber thieves. Their rough-and-tumble role and characteristic toughness influenced the creation of the Range Rider mascot, a mountain goat which can be found roaming throughout the higher elevations of Glacier National Park, and at Flathead Field!

Flathead Field is a brand new, state-of-the-art, multipurpose venue in Flathead Valley, Montana. Primarily designed for independent minor league baseball, the venue features approximately 2,500 individual 21″ wide folding seatback chairs in a concrete bowl. Flathead Field features landscaped seating areas with natural elements from the site and surrounding geography, group gathering areas, a children’s play area presented by Logan Health, and leaning rails throughout.
Our facility is meant to be a community hub and is family friendly with restrooms designed throughout and ADA compliant.
Concessions feature traditional ballpark favorites and uniquely crafted choices. Beer and wine is available for responsible adults and a draft beer and wine bar is conveniently located behind home plate. On the suite level, we have two nightly rental options for groups coming out to the ballgame; one for 16 people and the other can host up to 32 people.
The Glacier Range Riders Mercantile is our team store and located on the main concourse. Parking is available on site.
The 20,000 square foot Range Riders Training Facility is presented by Logan Health and will feature indoor batting and pitching areas, a film room, weight training room, medical training room, cryotherapy hot and cold plunge pools, player lounge, and kitchen in addition to the traditional locker room and coaching staff offices The field surface is a fully synthetic system designed to maximize athlete safety and minimize downtime due to weather.
Other great features include a nearly 1,000 square foot HD video wall, LED field lighting, acoustically tuned sound system, and scenic 360° views of the Flathead Valley.
